It Was Destined ....

As I've blown out one more candle than last year with a birthday over the weekend, I found myself quite amused when I read the Taurean horoscope in the May issue of Traditional Home Magazine ....

"When contemplating which designer to hitch your star to, you can't go wrong with a Taurus.  As a Taurean, any interior designer or architect with hopes of longevity is already ahead of the game.  Non values coziness and classicism more than the bull-- and these are the key components that ensure a timeless traditional home...

...Opulence and comfort go hand-in-hand-sewn-glove with this sign.... Indoors or out, planning a garden or a grand ballroom, this Earth sign talks the design talk and walks the walk with equal poise...

... This is the sign of the collector, so if your passion is collecting fine art or antiques, rest assured that your accumulated treasures will find a worthy showcase in the designing bull's care..."

I guess this explains why, as a child, I would use masking tape to tape out more rooms for Barbie's dream house, to use folded tissues as bath towels and pieces of fabric for bed linens.  My career choice was destined.

Good to know, some things are just meant to be ....

Happy Monday!
