Waterworks is often one of my first stops when selecting tile, plumbing and tubs for my client's bathrooms...

... I was excited to see that Waterworks has expanded their lighting collection and the mirrored sconces from the Lawson collection or the ribboned Blue Note sconce are the perfect touch to any vanity area!

The simplicity of lines and material can provide the soft subtle detail for well appointed bathrooms...enjoy!

Anna Bondoc

My infatuation with all things paper continues with the artwork of Anna Bondoc.  Using hand-cut layers of card stock, this artist creates abstract images that make the perfect accent for any fun-loving youthful interior!

With a portion of proceeds going to various organizations that focus on providing under-served children with access to critical skills, education, and life experiences, this artwork provides fulfillment on a multitude of levels.  Enjoy!

Favorite Finds Friday: Madeline Weinrib

While on a rug search for one of my clients, I visited Madeline Weinrib's website, as she has great wool and cotton rugs, readily available through ABC Carpet and Home here in New York City.  As my client needs a rug before her holiday party, this showroom fit the ticket!

While on the website, I noticed that furniture is now being offered.... the textiles covering the various chairs and stools can't be beat and offer a great way to incorporate a very unique look to any room.  Below are a few of  my favorites... enjoy!

All Eyes on Paris

Christie's Paris will be a buzz in a couple of days as various photographs by famed photographer Richard Avedon go up on the auction block.

The sale will represent a cross section of Avedon's work: iconic celebrity photos, such as the one of Marilyn Monroe shot in 1957 which is expected to bring $100-$150,000...

.... the Beatles portfolio shot in psychedelic colors for Look magazine in 1967, which is estimated to sell for $350- $550,000...

.....oh to be in Paris on November 20th!

Studium Showroom, NYC

While doing a little research for bath materials on an upcoming project, one of my favorite vendors, Studium, issued a brochure for their new Silk Road collection.  A few of my favorite patterns are below and I'm sure you can understand why!

Of course, many beautiful mosaics exist within their collection, and the patterns inspired by David Hicks top the list!
